Are all the highest draft picks the only great players in the league? Arent the majority of starters mid round picks and FA?

Off course not all starters in the NFL are highdraft picks, just see Brady.

But the odds of getting a good player high in the draft should be higher. But offcourse there are lots of high draft pick busts also. The draft is a lottery to a certain degree at least. There are just some teams that are better at picking the right numbers each year (like the colts and the pats).

Saying top-5 picks aren't good because the majority of good players aren't top-5 picks is like saying Nobel Prize winners aren't smart because the majority of smart people aren't Nobel Prize winners.
