    Re: Carriker to be traded

I wouldn't be too sure. Two of those 4 guys you named may not even make the 48 man roster.

    Re: Carriker to be traded

Now if I don't lose my internet connection I can finally say something...

On Monday evening, I sent Adam an e-mail asking if he would like to join us in the chatroom for the draft. When I got up at 5:45 on Tuesday morning, there was a reply:

"Thanks, but I won't be able to attend."

No asking about my kids, no mention of his son, no giving me a hard time. It just wasn't typical of him, nor did it contain any of his offbeat sense of humor. I was wondering why such a short answer...now I guess that he had been talking to his agent about things and knew this was coming. Too bad. He was really hungry to play and said he was feeling better than ever. I have a bad feeling that Washington is going to end up with the better end of this deal.

I guess we'll never know, but if he wasn't even certain to make the roster when healthy, don't you think they would have cut him last year? I know there are restrictions on cutting injured players, not sure what they are (that might answer my question, of course).
