CB DeAngelo Hall resigns with Redskins, is Bartell watching?
According to the Washington Post, "The CB has agreed to a deal worth a maximum of $55 million over 6 years, according to league sources. He will receive roughly $23 million guaranteed. Huge deal for Hall. We shall see what it means for Shawn Springs and Carlos Rogers."
Are Ron Bartell and his agent watching the news ticker? They have to be interested in the size of the deal Hall received.

Re: CB DeAngelo Hall resigns with Redskins, is Bartell watching?
All for the better if he's looking for that money. I'd have been okay dealing Hayden money, but Bartell hasn't been to a probowl like Hall. Hall is the more talented corner, his character is his biggest flaw, Bartell has no known character concerns. However talent is where the money's at. Bartell has no real claim to that kind of money other than he's one of the best corners on the market by default. Lucky break for him. I could end up putting my foot in my mouth if he has a record breaking season and Hall is benched.

Re: CB DeAngelo Hall resigns with Redskins, is Bartell watching?
I'm holding on to hope, but it's fading quickly.
Bartell isn't mentioned among a recent article Pat Kirwan wrote on NFL.com concerning the top 50 NFL free agent prospects, nor is he listed among the top 5 in defensive backs. This is a gross oversight, IMO, but at least something to clutch to. II hope he gets paid what he's worth to this franchise. That's at least Kelvin Hayden money, probably more.
