Re: CB options if we lose Bartell

If we can't sign Bartell we should set our sights on Leigh Bodden. He is a great fit for the system, because he excels in press man coverage unlike the Tampa 2 he played in Detroit. Buchanon is old and it would be just like the situation where Bodden was put in the Tampa 2 I don't think he is a good fit. I don't see the point in going after McFadden because he will get similar money to Bartell and they are the same age with similar size, but the difference is McFaddden Plays with a way better pass rush.

We have to keep Bartell at all cost, but if we can't I think Leigh Bodden is the way to go.

If we lose Bartell, I would take Buchanon or McCallister either one would be starters.
I thought Buchanon got drafted by Oakland not Houston am I trippin?

Buchannon did get taken by Oakland, and he was traded to Houston for a second and third round pick combination.

I don't think McAllister is starter material at this point in his career. Buchanon would be a decent signing for the right price... but he's just not as good as Bartell and he doesn't have anywhere close to the same upside.

Foxworth has agreed in principle to a 4 year deal in Baltimore, according to ESPN.com.

One more off of the market.

I'm not sure if I have the most updated information, but I believe Chris McAlister, Dre Bly, Jabari Greer, Shawn Springs, Phillip Buchanon, Leigh Bodden, Andre Goodman, and Bryant McFadden are all still available right now. I'd prefer to have Bartell over many of them, especially some of those older guys living more off of their name than their talent, but it's not as if there aren't any options out there.
