Every report was that Manziel had a broken thumb on his throwing hand at the end of the season. There are photos of it wrapped up before the Missouri game.
He's not a prototypical pocket passer as of now. He's world class throwing while on the run. Bridgewater had some bad games also including his 21-31 against Rutgers where he was missing wide open receivers.

I would rather have a Steve Hutchison, Larry Allen, Will Shields type at guard, than a good QB (which i presume to be a QB that isn't a pro bowler?)

With Sam Bradford on the roster and Harvey Dahl about to get cut? Great RG no question.

Barrett Jones is already on the roster.

Good for you, though I think you'd be in the minority.

It works out much better in the long run to get a 10 year elite guard or center then a mere "good" QB

Just so we're clear, when i say good, i mean Tony Romo, Eli Manning, Alex Smith, Joe Flacco, Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Matt Ryan, etc.

See that would where we would disagree. Pro Bowl QBs aren't just good. They are great. Superbowl winning and Superbowl MVP QBs aren't just good. They are great. A good QB would be a capable starter but not a pro bowler in my mind.
