Chad Greenway's Pro Day (unconfirmed)
4.59 forty, 38" vertical, and 20 reps of 225.
Much improved from the combine.

Still would hate to see him at SLB. Although I think he'll be a good WLB where he can use his athleticism.

I don't know why you'd "hate" to see him there. Yes, he'd probably be better at the WILL position, but these numbers are good responses to concerns from the combine.

You and RF16 really need to get over this Sharks/Jets-like rivalry. Even when one of your guys' favorite players does well, neither of you seem to be willing to accept it.
If these numbers hold up, I think Greenway is our best option at 11th overall of likely players available, especially considering Jimmy Williams' poor pro day.

Nick, you gotta love the entertainment value. This is some good Hatfield v. McCoy stuff between these two guys. You and RF16 really need to get over this Sharks/Jets-like rivalry.
As for Greenway, I see no problem with him playing strongside."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Thank you! and thanks nick for finding this. I knew he would run under a 4.6 and get 20+ reps. I said that didn't I RJ39.

You said 4.5 with 23 reps. I said he wouldnt get over 20. We split it right down the middle.Thank you! and thanks nick for finding this. I knew he would run under a 4.6 and get 20+ reps. I said that didn't I RJ39.
I dont see a huge difference between Greenway and Ryan's workout numbers. I think that of the two Greenway will be the better WILL LB due to his speed and that Ryans will be a better SLB due to his ability to shed blocks and react to plays. I think that there is more of a risk with Greenway at SLB than Ryans.
With that being said, I exaggerated my assesment when I said I would hate to see it. I would have serious concerns with him playing SLB due to problems that I saw with him in college.
I enjoy doing it. It's weird arguing with someone who has such strong feelings against a player that he never saw play.Nick, you gotta love the entertainment value. This is some good Hatfield v. McCoy stuff between these two guys. The Roman and The Prince. Playmakers until the end.

Same goes to you. You see a few games with a few plays. You haven't seen every game of his career. There is a diffrence between every down of every game of ones career rather than a few plays of his career.

"You and RF16 need to get over this Sharks/Jets-like rivalry." Thanx for the intro Nick.

CHORUS: " The Jets are in gear and everbody knows it! Hmmm...Unfortunately I can't recall the rest of the chorus. Maybe somebody out there can help.

Re: Chad Greenway's Pro Day (unconfirmed)
I saw a few games where I made a point to sit down and watch. I watched games where he went against GOOD competition. I wasnt going to watch him going against the weaker Big Ten teams. No point in that. The Big Ten isnt like the SEC where even the worst teams are still pretty good.Same goes to you. You see a few games with a few plays. You haven't seen every game of his career. Dude. Your seriously not seeing the big picture. The Refs are obviously the best team in the SEC and they beat the Hawkeyes.
