Charles Woodson
I know he probably won't be cheap, but i think Woodson would make an excellent Free Safety, like Aeneas Williams was. Woodson is getting older, and doesn't have long left at corner, but he has a good 3-5 years left if he switches to safety

Re: Charles Woodson
I think Woodson could make a good free safety, but I have absolutely no interest in bringing him to St. Louis.

Re: Charles Woodson
Why is that? I think he could be the veteran presence that our secondary needs

I would love to see him here in St.Louis. I really think all of that losing in Oakland has worn him down. I think that with a change of scenery, he could be a playmaker on the defense that the Rams need.
The Roman and The Prince. Playmakers until the end.

Re: Charles Woodson
Because he'll likely demand a large contract given that he's a Poston client, and I'd rather not see the Rams deal with them any more.

Re: Charles Woodson
I didn't realise he was a Poston client, screw him then.
They will probably demand a $100 mill signing bonus because Woodson won the Heisman

Re: Charles Woodson
The way I see it, if the CBA isn't extended, Poston will only ask for a one-year deal for Woodson so he can then turn around and demand a huge contract in the uncapped 2007.

Re: Charles Woodson
I would love to have him in St. Louis. He has always been a shut down Corner and we need a good Corner and he has the size to play Free Safety. I think it'd be a good pickup
