Re: ClanRam Insiders Mock Draft - Official Discussion Thread
Man that Colts pick was a hard one. So many options for a team with so many needs.
Re: ClanRam Insiders Mock Draft - Official Discussion Thread
Great pick for the Rams. I think the Rams have too many holes to draft on purely on need. Best player available at a position of relative need is key for me. Another CB is just fine. DT is the bigger need for sure, but if the corner is better than the DT, i am fine with the corner. YOu can really never have enough quality corners and i think we now have four of them (i have high hopes for murphy) assuming fletcher is healthy.

If Kirkpatrick fell to us at #33 I'd cry. He was for a while known as the #1 CB coming out. He has fantastic size, and would make our secondary one of the most feared in the NFL.
Re: ClanRam Insiders Mock Draft - Official Discussion Thread
It's also possible if he (Kirkpatrick) was dropping, just like with Ingram, some team would move up to grab him.
Good pick for the Colts. Luck is going to need weapons, as I feel like even Peyton Manning would have problems with their current group of receivers. It's just been decimated.

Back to the drawing board.
I might have been willing to trade for your 1st next year :D
Re: ClanRam Insiders Mock Draft - Official Discussion Thread
Looks like the Rams are back on the clock, and still with plenty of options!
Re: ClanRam Insiders Mock Draft - Official Discussion Thread
I think i could create an all Offensive line mock draft

And I'm on my way to creating a draft where all I do is draft guys that are dropping.

I agree. This would be amazing.
Also thought GB would have jumped on Konz since we just grabbed their starter.
Fleener to SF was a suprise but I understand the logic. He's probably a better weapon than any receiver at that point and double TE's are the in thing now. Good targets that can also block for Gore.

GB passed on Konz, because they already had their replacement for Wells with the signing of Jeff Saturday.

Saturday is what, 36? Konz could certainly help, as I really doubt Saturday has much left in the tank.
Re: ClanRam Insiders Mock Draft - Official Discussion Thread
Oooo, risky pick by Avenger, considering that some on this board think Zach Brown is potentially the worst OLB ever (or so it seems). I like the pick actually, our OLBs have been awful for years, and even if Brown isn't a probowler, he still represents an upgrade over...well, did we even have someone playing OLB last year? If they were I didn't notice.

Yes, 36. And it would appear the Packers feel he has enough left to be their starting Center. I wouldn't be overly surprised if they go with Konz in that situation, but IMO, Glenn was the better value there.
Re: ClanRam Insiders Mock Draft - Official Discussion Thread
I assumed AV would go with either Brown or Worthy. Either way, add that pick (turned out to be Brown) with Kirkpatrick and Blackmon, and this has turned out to be a tremendous draft for the Rams.

Agreed, we got younger and more talented on D, and added a great WR to help on offense. If Kendricks can improve and play up to his potential, we might actually have a pretty decent team on our hands.
