Re: Clanram Mock Draft Competition- If it is allowed....
Okay, I thought I'd give this a a go:
.Texans – Mario Williams, DE
.Jets (fr. Saints) – Reggie Bush, RB
.Titans - Matt Leinart, QB
.Saints (fr. Jets) – D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT
.Packers – A.J. Hawk, OLB
.***** – Vernon Davis, TE
.Raiders – Vince Young, QB
.Bills - Winston Justice, OT
.Lions - Michael Huff, S
.Cardinals – Jay Cutler, QB
.Rams- Broderick Bunkley, DT
.Browns – Haloti Ngata, DT
.Ravens – Ernie Sims, OLB
.Eagles – Chad Jackson, WR
.Broncos (fr. Atlanta) – Santonio Holmes, WR
.Dolphins - Jimmy Williams, CB
.Vikings- Chad Greenway, OLB
.Cowboys – Donte Whitner, S
.Chargers – Tye Hill, CB
.Chiefs – Antonio Cromartie, CB
.Patriots – DeAngelo Williams, RB
.***** (fr. Denver) – Manny Lawson, OLB
.Buccaneers – Jonathan Joseph, CB
.Bengals – Jason Allen, S
.Giants – Ashton Youbouty, CB
.Bears – Sinorice Moss, WR
.Panthers – LenDale White, RB
.Jaguars – Bobby Carpenter, OLB
.Jets – Eric Winston, OT
.Colts – Laurence Maroney, RB
.Seahawks – Kelly Jennings, CB
.Steelers – Nick Mangold, C
Please note these choices do not necessarily represent my preferences; they are merely predictions. I predict some teams will disagree with my player assessments. My Rams Board goes something like this:
I'm definitely open to the idea of trading, but if we stay put I'm guessing Bunkley will be the pick. And as a pioneer in draft prognostication, I'll even predict the teams I'm most likely to get wrong: the Rams, Ravens, Dolphins, Cowboys, and Buccaneers. I was going to give the Bears Pope or Lewis and the Bucs Marcus McNeil until I got towards the end of the second and realized they'd have a lot easier time filling those needs with good players later on. The Rams and Dolphins just have too many needs, and the Ravens' pick relies a lot on what the Rams and Browns do. The Cowboys might take Wimbley or Lawson.
