Clanram Mock Draft Competition- If it is allowed....

    Mock Draft competition Number 000001.
Those who would like to partake, please post your *Final* one round mock draft in this thread.
*Only one Mock Draft per person.
*All Work Must Be Your Own.
*Only One Round- No Explanation Needed
    *Unlimited Contestants
*The Mock Draft you submit must only be one round.
*You may inclue ONE trade. It's totally optional.
*For those who wish to include a trade, if your prophecy isn't fulfilled, your draft remains the same, and you will only get points for correct position, and correct player.
*By trading you are essentially gambing two picks from you mock draft to score more points
    *You score yourself- be honest.

*Correct Position Seleted at Pick-10 pts
*Correct Player Selected at Pick-20 pts
*Correctly Picking the Two Teams to Trade- 50 pts
*Correctly Picking Player Selected By Team After Trade- 70 pts

Contestant A says- The Rams Trade with Buffalo to acqire Michael Huff, DB, Texas. Buffalo Selects Brodrick Bunkley, DT, Florida.

Contestant B says- The Rams Trade with Buffalo to acquire Michael Huff, DB, Texas. Buffalo selects Haloti Ngata, DT Oregon.

If the First scenario is to play out come drat day, Contestant A Recieves 20 points foor picking the correct positions(Rams and Buffalo), 40 for picking the right player, 50 for picking the trade, and 140 for choosing the right players after the trade.- A Total of 250 points.

Contestant B would recieve 20 for the positions, 20 for the players, 50 for the trade, and 70 for getting one of the players correct after the trade- a total of 160 points

IF THERE IS NO TRADE HERE- and Buffalo selects OT Winston Justice, and St.Louis takes LB Chad Greenway, the result will be 0 points for both contestants.

I will be posting my mock sometime in the next day or so.

Re: Clanram Mock Draft Competition- If it is allowed....

    Okay, I thought I'd give this a a go:

    1.Texans – Mario Williams, DE
2.Jets (fr. Saints) – Reggie Bush, RB
    3.Titans - Matt Leinart, QB
    4.Saints (fr. Jets) – D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT
    5.Packers – A.J. Hawk, OLB
    6.***** – Vernon Davis, TE
    7.Raiders – Vince Young, QB
    8.Bills - Winston Justice, OT
    9.Lions - Michael Huff, S
    10.Cardinals – Jay Cutler, QB
    11.Rams- Broderick Bunkley, DT
    12.Browns – Haloti Ngata, DT
    13.Ravens – Ernie Sims, OLB
    14.Eagles – Chad Jackson, WR
15.Broncos (fr. Atlanta) – Santonio Holmes, WR
    16.Dolphins - Jimmy Williams, CB
    17.Vikings- Chad Greenway, OLB
    18.Cowboys – Donte Whitner, S
    19.Chargers – Tye Hill, CB
    20.Chiefs – Antonio Cromartie, CB
    21.Patriots – DeAngelo Williams, RB
22.***** (fr. Denver) – Manny Lawson, OLB
    23.Buccaneers – Jonathan Joseph, CB
    24.Bengals – Jason Allen, S
    25.Giants – Ashton Youbouty, CB
    26.Bears – Sinorice Moss, WR
    27.Panthers – LenDale White, RB
    28.Jaguars – Bobby Carpenter, OLB
    29.Jets – Eric Winston, OT
    30.Colts – Laurence Maroney, RB
    31.Seahawks – Kelly Jennings, CB
    32.Steelers – Nick Mangold, C

Please note these choices do not necessarily represent my preferences; they are merely predictions. I predict some teams will disagree with my player assessments. My Rams Board goes something like this:

    A.J. Hawk
    Michael Huff
    Haloti Ngata
    Broderick Bunkley
    Tye Hill
    Bobby Carpenter
    Antonio Cromartie
    Chad Greenway
    Ernie Sims
    Jimmy Williams

I'm definitely open to the idea of trading, but if we stay put I'm guessing Bunkley will be the pick. And as a pioneer in draft prognostication, I'll even predict the teams I'm most likely to get wrong: the Rams, Ravens, Dolphins, Cowboys, and Buccaneers. I was going to give the Bears Pope or Lewis and the Bucs Marcus McNeil until I got towards the end of the second and realized they'd have a lot easier time filling those needs with good players later on. The Rams and Dolphins just have too many needs, and the Ravens' pick relies a lot on what the Rams and Browns do. The Cowboys might take Wimbley or Lawson.
