Cleveland looking to deal Quinn & Edwards?
via The National Football Post
An interesting option, do you think the Rams could possibly make a move for Quinn? Most likely not even considering it, but it's an interesting proposition.Browns Looking To Make A Splash?
The Cleveland Browns have been engaging in talks to trade quarterback Brady Quinn and wide receiver Braylon Edwards, according to our own Michael Lombardi of the National Football Post.
Lombardi reports he is hearing from multiple league sources that the Browns have a first round pick on the table for Quinn, but may be looking for more. Two teams are currently interested in Quinn’s services.
In addition, Lombardi is hearing that the Browns have a first round pick on the table for wide receiver Braylon Edwards and will most likely trade him before the start of next season.
One other note: Lombardi is hearing the Browns are very interested in Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree.

I would be interested in Edwards, not Quinn.

Wouldn't be interested in either for a first rounder. Edwards has hands like feet. Quin has proved anything and hasnt lived up to expectations

I wouldn't give up our first, but if they'll take our high second rounder for Edwards I'd do that in a heartbeat. Who knows, maybe Billy could work his magic like the Laurant trade. Edwards, Avery, Burton, and Robinson, that sounds like be a pretty dang good receiving corp to me. Then I would just hope we could find a decent right tackle in the third

Re: Cleveland looking to deal Quinn & Edwards?
Cleveland have been offered a 1st for Quinn but want more??
not many teams wanted him in the 1st when he was drafted, what makes them believe his stock has gone up when they themselves prefer Ravens reject Derek Anderson??
i do think Brady Quinn given the right circumstances could be a top QB in the NFL but if they themselves dont rate him very highly then i dont understand why they expect other teams to...im guessing that offer came from the Vikings or Jets...i cant think who else would offer a 1st..
with Braylon..i think of him as kinda like the Tye Hill or Alex Barron of WR`s....
plenty of talent but one glaring fault in his game keeps holding him back!

Lets get the defence right, for once if nothing else to bring back some respect for the horseman

Re: Cleveland looking to deal Quinn & Edwards?
Talent wise I think Edwards is worth our second pick any day. WR is one of our biggest needs and Edwards can play. I think he can play better than he did last year.
But from a personality standby I don't know if he would be a good fit into the team first approach that Spags is trying to get going. But some times all it needs to get a ego player to play well is a good coach just see Moss and the Pats.
