Cleveland trade doesn't fit Romeo's MO
If Romeo is going to follow the NE blueprint then there is no way a trade happens with Cleveland for Pace. NE does not pay big for O lineman, and tries not to pay too much at any position. If they do pay they do it at DB, and DL. NE's team also revolved around good safeties so they need/want a good safety like Sean Jones. Btw he is more of a SS than a FS (runs a 4.63 forty, good tackler, not as good in coverage).
Just don't see it happening, but if Pace doesn't sign ... I think he is gone.

Re: Cleveland trade doesn't fit Romeo's MO
Well, it was just a theory of mine.
That said, Jones was projected as a free safety coming out of college, I believe. The Browns tried him at both positions, and it's my understanding from looking into him prior to the draft that he decent man coverage skills but excelled in deep zones playing the field.
But again, it was just me thinking out loud.
