Colt Brennan has hip surgery

I know some of you here dont like him and some of you dont mind him at all.
And we dont even need to get a qb for a few years, but with this news if he fell enough in this draft to about the 5th, why not? I dont really think Berlin is to great and would rather have someone else as our 3rd stringer, like Brennan.

He had fallen into the latter rounds prior to this, so now he's basically secured a spot in the 6th or 7th. Whoever takes him will probably instantly put him on IR, allowing him to develop but not take up the roster spot.

This guy was so fun to watch at Hawaii. From record setting gun slinger to emotionally broken in the Suger Bowl, he's really fallen into relative obscurity.

Yeah, but I'm sure he's got a huge chip on his shoulder, so yeah, I'd be more than willing to give up a 7th, and maybe a 6th depending on what other value picks were there, to get him and instantly get him on IR. Maybe next preseason we can dislocate his thigh so we can IR him again, too.

Or how about Orlando Pace getting hurt the 1 game like last year !!
Mark Bulger getting 37 ribs broken in that same game. In comes
the 9 mill $$$ Trent Green he trips on his shoe laces and gets
concussion we then have 3 starters on Ir and in comes colt brennon
to save the day! don't laugh it could happen but I hope not!

Your right, something like that could happen. Brock berlin got to play lsat year so anythings possible

I wouldn't mind taking a chance on the guy. He sort of Troy-Smithed his way out of being picked at a decent spot in the draft, but he was still a starting quarterback who set records, am I right?
