    Re: Colt McCoy hurt?

Adam Schefter reported this morning that it's not looking like a serious injury. However it does hurt his stock. He needed a good to great game to be considered a late 1st early 2nd round pick. Adam reports that by not playing at all, which he equaled to having a bad game, it drops his stock closer to the 3rd-4th round with a chance of late 2nd. If he impresses at workouts and combine, could force his way back into the 2nd again.

Heard Schefter this morning. Would be great if this guy falls to us in round 3....

That's a pretty stupid analysis by Shifty Schefter. Why would not playing because of an injury (provided that its a short-term injury) cause him to drop? Certainly, he could have moved from Round 2 to Round 1 with an outstanding performance, but I don't see how getting hurt could cause him to drop to the 3rd or 4th if went into the game as a presumptive Round 1 or 2 prospect.

I really don't think he gets by Minnesota in Round 1

I wouldn't mind pickin' up McCoy in the 2nd or 3rd. That's a pretty good value pick.

This would be one our most memorable drafts if we are to be able to land both Suh and McCoy, just what we need to be a big draw in LA!

lol when Suh sacked McCoy, he literally chucked him off-balance. I wonder how those two will get along being in the same team?

I'd imagine Colt being thrilled that he's not getting sacked by him anymore.
