Re: Complete List of 212 Free Agents who become Restricted FAs in Uncapped year
Rams are not going to be extremely active in FA, because they are going to be looking at guys on their last contract who are around 28 and 29 thats not what Devaney wants. Maybe 1 or 2 of those guys and some guys who escape tenders because we aren't giving up picks
Re: Complete List of 212 Free Agents who become Restricted FAs in Uncapped year
some tasty looking O-linemen...Evans and Brown wont leave the Saints, IMHO they are possibly the best two players they have along with Brees.
maybe someone like Harvey Dahl could be had..good physical lineman..David Baas i think is on his way to being a very good guard and he can play some Centre too..one of those two (i think it would be too much to pay for both when theres other holes to fill and we not ultra desperate for OG`s) i think would make a nice addition.
not much in the way of RT`s apart from Clabo..i think we`ll draft one if we can`t get him at a reasonable price.
a couple of decent LB`s out there..i think we should add 3 to the roster for next season..perhaps 2 in FA...one starter, one back up..and draft Epps or someone like that in the 4th..i cant see him leaving but ya never know with the Raiders but Thomas Howard would be a very addition IMO.perhaps Derrick Johnson more realistic.
perhaps Norwood to back up SJ.
Sheffler at TE..big fan of his and it seems he`s out of Denver.
im just hoping it is a salary cap more than anything else..i trust Billy D & Spags etc..to make wise decisions and get the right players to fit our team..they havent gone far wrong yet in the way of personnel decisions with the little cap theve had to spend.

They will be if its an uncapped year
This could be a benefit to the Rams though. I think at the moment most teams arent resigning these FAs because of the chance that they could be restricted FAs, where they would then be able to tender the players and get draft picks as compensation. If the CBA problem is then sorted out, there will be a lot of guys that could and should have been resigned by the teams earlier that will hit unrestricted free agency.
As for the two guys you mentioned though, i think their teams would Franchise Tag them before letting them hit unrestricted free agency. Although Owen Daniels is intriguing because his injury may cause the Texans to try and underpay him

Good points in here. I think Daniels might be a top 3 TE in the league.

I think we need to snag Gocong or Gaither from Philly or Blackburn from New York. They have ties with Coach Spags and we need to upgrade the line backer position.
The ideal scenario for me would be getting Blackburn from New York. But Gocong and Gaither would work just as well. These guys won't be demanding huge money, and they are reliable players in OUR system.

I like those pick ups plugs...also I would like to see us snag Norwood!

I don't believe Victor Hobson was a restricted free agent, as he had more than six years of experience in the league.
