Well, NFL history isn't on Austin's side when it comes to smaller players and career longevity.

Just to be clear, you're saying that the competition he faced in high school and college (playing against Big East and Big 12 defenses) is equal to what he'll face in the NFL? So the fact that he didn't miss anytime before means he'll be just fine taking shots from NFL defenders?

Agreed, although one is no longer in the second round.

If a team won their division seven straight times, that would be a NFL record. Now add on that team did it with seven different QB's in seven straight years, that record is unbeatable. To do that feat, you must of had a great Defense. Jack Youngblood was the captain of that defense.

Sorry, I thought you meant the actual coach. I didn't know there was a poster with that name.
    No, I'm not him.

I'm not sure what exactly I'm doing that would get me booted.
I don't think I'm being insulting to other posters, at least not intentionally. I'm not being profane.
I'm just complaining about the Rams round one drafting (quite frankly trying to get it out of my system and move on). Is not being happy with the Rams and posting about it grounds for being banned? That's a serious question, I really don't know.

    Don't forget theft

I don't really care about the four pillars, I just don't want him to do something stupid and hurt the team.

Don't you have to have a babymama to be eligible to play in the NFL?
That's why Jenkins made absolutely sure all his bases were covered.

Wes Welker would like to have a word with you in the parking lot.

Anyways, I'll let you have your opinion. I was scratching my head over the Tavon AWESOME pick as well at first but seeing that we managed to trade down #22 and retain the number of same draft picks whilst getting two playmakers removes the pain of the sting. Austin plays smart and utilizes his speed while making DBs look foolish and go out of bounds when he thinks he can't get more YAC. As for Ogletree, he's a rare breed of LB who played safety before and has shown that he can cover TEs and WRs pretty well.

Obviously this thread is not worth responding to. But let me just say, most of the draftniks thought the Rams made excellent moves and I for one, am in total agreeance.

    Re: Completely and totally disappointed

hahahahahha what a waste of a post.

Personally, I could not have scripted that first round any better... Matter of fact, I was about to post a thread complementing Fisher & Snead for having the PERFECT day one.

I will just leave you to your complaining, though I must ask: If THAT didn't make you happy, what the hell would have?
