That's a false scenario...it's not an either or situation. I'm sure if LT had any interest at all in going to a team with no shot at the Super Bowl we could have gone after him even after signing Feeley...but he stated he wanted to go to a contender when he was released. He wouldn't have come here, not for anything short of a crazy contract.
It's a moot point, because L.T. said all along he wanted to go to a contender. It's not as if the Rams could have signed L.T. for that price, but then chose to spend it on Feeley instead.Quote:
