Interesting as always, but i still take with a grain of salt after the Gilyard debacle. Just because you have the physical tools, doesn't mean you mental tools.

According to Sports Science, Gilyard should be able to create separation from any NFL CB, while blindfolded...

Actually, according to Sports Science, Gilyard was so good at learning routes that he could repeat the exact same route he'd just run, and do it blindfolded. In reality, Gilyard was lucky to know which side of the field to be on. He just couldn't get the playbook down at all.

He seemed like a rep guy. So, learning two different playbooks is no good. Especially if the second one is more complicated with a drastically shortened offseason to boot. I feel confident he'll catch on somewhere. Just wasn't meant to be with the Rams. He should excel in a West Coast offense someplace though, that's what he has the most NFL experience in at this point. Very talented with the ball in his hands on offense, just didn't get many opportunities there.

Ironically, that's why the Rams cut Gilyard: he tried to read the playbook while blindfolded.
