If the rams had a medical concern about bradfords shoulder they would not have selected him. THey believed that the surgically repaired shoulder was as good as new. A concussion is a trickier thing, but i tend to agree that the lions traded up because they were concerned that either the rams would take him at 33 or the rams would trade with someone else that would trade up and take him. That doesnt mean that the lions were correct and i think that the rams would have gone with saffold either way. I think the rams wanted to trade down from 33, not take any of the guys left, but werent able to work a deal that made sense for them so they stayed put. I dont think that analysis would have changed if best was available.
