Danario Alexander holding pro-day Wed July 28
Danario Alexander has been running 4.41 this week and is holding a personal pro day.
He would be great on the turf and a great compliment to Avery, and Gilyard.
THis kid has first round talent. He went to mizzu and we better take a serious look at him.
This could be the steal we need to put our recieving core over the hump for the next 3 years.
The kid simply gets the job done. Whether he has knee problems or not, when healthy he can absolutely play.
Has it been mentioned that he’s 6’4" 215 lbs. and not bashful about making big catches over the middle?
Let's send Spags over to prove we are serious and hook this kid.

Re: Danario Alexander holding pro-day Wed July 28
So a guy who has had multiple knee surgeries before he's 22 is a good idea for a team that plays on turf?
In addition to that his routes are about as raw as expected from a rookie. So how can adding yet another "talented young rookie" put us over the hump?

Bralidore,
You are from MIzzu. You must have seen him play. He is as talented as anyone at the WR positon this year. He does have injury concerns but has very good character.
He will be cheap because of the injury concerns and he favors staying close to home.
He played on turf and excelled. There are very few 6'4" guys that have 4.41 speed that are actually skilled.
If he gets a clean bill of health he should be a RAM.
Local guy, that wasts to stay home, we need a cheap #1 WR. He pulls balls out of air with good hands and graceful size.
lets go.

I've been campaigning for this guy all along. If not for the knee issues, he'd have been a 2nd or 3rd rounder. But the knees are a very big issue.
Healthy? That's THE question, isn't it?"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

His knees are the whole point. He's one trip up from snapping them again, the guy can't be relied on to stay healthy.
Who's to say his performance will ever be the same with those knees. Even without the knee problems he will have his rookie issues such as learning to run routes at an NFL level, beating the jam, etc. All of which were problems at the Shrine Game.

Is Alexander auditioning for a possible free agent deal or is there gonna be another Supplemental Draft? ( Note the CAPS. Whenever you mention something about the NFL one must use CAPITAL LETTERS or Roman Numerals.)
WHAT SAY YE?

I would absolutely love it if the Rams picked up Alexander! I enjoyed watching every single game he played at Mizzou and he was the #1 WR ahead of Jeremy Maclin before he was injured. I understand that he has had serious knee problems, but if we sign him on the cheap, then i am all for it. He at the very least will sell some tickets as he is still extremely popular in the local area for all the wonderful catches he had in college

The same could be said of any NFL player.
Nobody, of course. Who's to say any player will have the same 2010 that they had in 2009?Who's to say his performance will ever be the same with those knees.
Well yea, of course he will. Are you suggesting to not take a look at a rookie because he's a rookie?Even without the knee problems he will have his rookie issues such as learning to run routes at an NFL level, beating the jam, etc. All of which were problems at the Shrine Game."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

He was elligible but no team drafted him because he couldn't pass the physical.
So, he can sign a free agent contract.
Lets go Rams. Here's the big #1 WR you want for a steal of a price.

Re: Danario Alexander holding pro-day Wed July 28
Maybe. But now we'll delving into the world of medicine. Can we say that his knee is weaker than the average WR? Or has the surgeries fixed what was wrong, and given him a chance (ie. Drew Brees)?
I honestly don't know. But until a doctor comes out and says this guy will crumble in a short amount of time, he is certainly worth a look."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod
