Ken Murray, of the Baltimore Sun reports that the St. Louis Rams have extended an invitation to the University of Maryland WR Darrius Heyward-Bey for a private workout.

I don't think he will be there at Rams #2 pick in 2nd round. But you never know , 1st WR taken in last years draft was in round 2.

Darrius was so Inconsistent with his catches at Maryland. One second he made a huge catch then the next he drops an easy catch... he needs work.

True, but the talent is very different from this year and last year.



As for Bey, I think he'll go no later than 26.

I think we should just take Louis Murphy (Florida) in the 4th if he falls that far...he is very similar to Bey its just he did not perform quite as well as expected in the forty so he is a little under the radar.

both 6'2, both stats were underwhelming in college, bey ran a 4.30 and murphy ran 4.42 but has the ability to run lower than that

and they will both be projects in the NFL...well almost all rookie WRs are projects but these guys are more so

Louis Murphy is a good pick but he is gone by the second round

Then that Leaves Juaquin Iglesias, Ramses barden, and louis murphy as the possible choices for us in the 3rd or 4th.
