Re: Day 2 picks?
Alabama hasn't been widely known for it's wideouts but he's also someone to look for on the second day, probably before Monk. Shorter than Monk but has more speed.

Re: Day 2 picks?
FIRST of all ! I agree with TX on the lineman thing. i would like the RAMS to get 2-3 O-linemen and 2- D-linemen. I think the team needs a CENTER -rds 5-7 , a GUARD - rds 3-7 , and a TACKLE rds 1-7 . At least a TACKLE and a CENTER this year , and i think the RAMS should get 2 DE'S this year . and early pick 1-2 rd range and a late 4-7 rd pick , or 2 middies at 2-5 rd if they can contribute.
AS for MR. MONK ! i have him on my large and mid board as a 6th rd pick . Yes i think the kid has talent . last i knew he was running in the mid to high 4.5's , if he got his speed times down then he should get some more attention as a fast 6'6 215-220lb WR. i would take a good look at him again .
Here are some of the WR i was targeting if it help ya .
3RD RD # 65.
DONNIE AVERY - 5'10/ 5'11 , 185LB 4.34
EDDIE ROYAL - 5'10 , 182 4.39
4TH RD.# 101.
WILL FRANKLIN- 6'1 , 205 4.45
5TH RD. # 137.
KEENAN BURTON - 6'1 , 200 4.50
PAUL HUBBARD - 6'3 , 218 4.49
6TH RD. #168 / #180.
DEXTER JACKSON - 5'9 , 178 4.36
ADRIAN ARRINGTON - 6'3 , 190 4.54
7TH RD. # 217 / #252 .
STEVE JOHNSON - 6'2 , 200 4.49
TODD BLYTHE - 6'4 , 210 4.58
MARIO URRUTIA - 6'5 , 225 4.62
Those are the WR's i have on my radar for the RAMS to pick. hope it helps .

Re: Day 2 picks?
Klink, didn't Royal do like 50,000 something bench presses at the combine? You gotta like a WR with a little muscle to them. All the better for helping out in the running game.

Re: Day 2 picks?
I forgot what he did but i think he was in the mid to high 30's i think , i forget but yes that caught my eye . he has great speed and very good after the catch playmaking ability but he never had a good QB to do anything with. i tell you if this kid ever let's the RAMS coaches get ahold of him WATCH OUT , this will be lights out RAMS football . i really think this kid is a forgotten talent and if he had a QB like a HENNE or a RYAN or even BOOTY he would be a 1st rounder right there with SWEED and JACKSON .

Re: Day 2 picks?
I would love to see us grab Will Franklin, WR out of Mizzou in rounds 3-5. He has size and speed.
Go Rams!:r

Re: Day 2 picks?
I just read his profile and as I think AV stated in a previous thread, these evalutations are confusing. They'll say he is alert then bring in his learning disability. Give him ups on strength, then say he gets pushed around. Contradicting to say the least. Sounds like he has matured since entering college and definately has the speed the Rams need. Hometown boy makes good. I like it.

Re: Day 2 picks?
We need a tall receiver (6'5" or more) with great hands and great speed that is tough as nails that will battle for the YAC. That's all.

Re: Day 2 picks?
Here are my concerns about this plan.
1. If we draft a couple of OL who gets cut/traded or what other position depth suffers?
2. If a O-Tackle is drafted on day 1 then alot of money will be invested in 3 players that can play tackle and only 2 spots are available.
3. If the Rams have injury issues like they did last year then the depth will be nice but will not save the season.
4. Pace is getting up their in years so was I. Bruce, J. Elway, M. Straham, and the list can go on. What is your point? Do you feel he can no longer play or last a full season? If so can you show me or tell me what makes you feel this way? Yes, he's had a history of injuries as of late but overall in his career he has been pretty durable.
Richie is Richie and probably will not last the entire season but does that mean we need to use a high draft pick for depth on the OL....
Can quality depth at the guard and center position be had in day 2?
