    Deangelo Hall To the Giants?

    A DeAngelo Hall-to-the-Giants trade is reportedly "dead for now."

    Hall wants an Asante Samuel type contract from the team he's traded to. The Giants haven't been big players in free agency, but are working to keep and extend their own. Hall still a strong bet to be off Atlanta's roster by the summer. Per rotoworld

    Thank you... if I want all this assorted stuff I'll go to Rotoworld or KFFL... there's no need to post this. Nothing even happened. The news report is basically stating that nothing happened...??? A thread might be necessary if and or when Hall is traded to the Giants.

    I'd say try and keep the threads to Rams-related FA news and exciting FA acquisitions/trades around the league.. i.e in the event that a blockbuster trade involving Hall ACTUALLY happened.

    That all said about this not being news, I really don't know why they would want him, other than the fact that he's younger than some rookies'll be this year and still has played a number of years. He's not great in coverage and his mouth talks much more than his legs walk. Someone'll bite, it's just a matter of whom. My guess? Dallas, Washington, or Miami as an effort to get younger. Of course, the Whiners love to splurge on corners, maybe they'll trade for him!
