Demetrius Wiliams
According to this article on Yahoo Sports we may not be done with Raven Castaways.
I got to say I like the Clayton pick up but would be a little surprised if we added Williams. I wonder if his visit was scheduled before the Clayton deal went down?
OWINGS MILLS, Md.—The St. Louis Rams traded Monday for Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Mark Clayton(notes).
Now, they're set to meet today with former Ravens wide receiver Demetrius Williams(notes).
No deal is imminent for Williams at this time.
Williams is a player with upside, though.
The 6-foot-2, 197-pounder has the speed to gain separation, good hands and crisp routes, but has struggled with his durability.
The former fourth-round draft pick from Oregon was cut Saturday after a solid preseason, but is coming off a sprained right ankle.
He's more talented than several receivers on the Rams' roster, but hasn't been consistent. He has generated 63 career receptions for 1,008 yards and four touchdowns.
Last season, his numbers plummeted to eight catches for 142 yards and one touchdown as his playing time took a dip.Last edited by Rambunctious; -09-07-2010 at 02:17 AM.

Ahh... just what we need, another slot receiver.
BTW I thought we were in the business of taking the Eagles rejects?

Re: Demetrius Wiliams
he's 6'2" with good speed, i wouldn't call him a slot receiver. still, he hasn't done much in his career so i don't know how we take him considering we would have to cut someone else.

Re: Demetrius Wiliams
Looks like Spags and Harbaugh are becoming trading buddies, Andy Reid must've been upset after giving us Danny boy.
