Simpson is young, but smokes weed. not a bad thing tbh look at ricky williams.

What I don't understand is why guys can't drop the weed for their playing career. They do stand to lose some substantial money over it, and they can smoke as much as they want after they retire.
Although frankly none of those guys inspires much for me, but not much left until the draft either.

Fastcat, given your last post, i assume that you are not buying into the nate newton "personal use" defense as it applies to Simpson and his 20 pounds of weed. Was it really 20 pounds or were you just exxagerating because if it really was 20 pounds i would think he would be looking at some real jail time.
Ramming speed to all

So last year we had a hard time scoring near the goal line... we can just give it to simpson and have him flip over the blockers... of all of them i would like cotchery he shined in Shotty's system so it would give him an edge in our training camp WR battle

Not bad of whats left... Dixon could be interesting Simpson has talent he could spring board and be a #2 WR if he gets his Stuff together!!

He was selling weed that's for sure. How bad a crime that is up to the judges. Personally I'm one of those people who could careless if weed was legal or not. Alcohol is obviously far more dangerous yet still is legal
Oh and it was 8.5 lbs. He got a package of 2.5 lbs and they found 6 more in his house. They also found scales and baggies so he was definitely selling.

It was 2.5 pounds that was being shipped to his house.

Totally agree, would love all three additions.

Dixon IMO would be a great pick up he brings a good extra dimension. There are certainly durability issues but at this point who on this team doesn't really at this point.

So, did the visits take place yet ? Cotchery and Dixon sound good...Jerome Simpson you can have...we already have DX for a tall wirely speed guy

The difference between Jerome and DX is Jerome can stay healthy and has actually produced a full seasons body of work.Which DX doesnt seem to be able to do,potential can only take you so far.Its a production league and DX can consistently produce point blank.

yeah and last time I checked most teams would like to have more than one tall, fast wide receiver. I'd love to sign Simpson(don't care for Cotchery).
1. Blackmon
2. Simpson/Smith
3. Amendola/Smith/Salas
4. Alexander/Pettis/Salas
5. Alexander/Pettis/Salas
our receiving corps would look so much better with the acquisition of Simpson and Blackmon.
