Denver Looking At Vernon Davis
The Denver Post speculates that the Broncos may trade their two first-round draft picks in order to draft Vernon Davis
They would likely try to move up to Green Bay or San Francisco's spots. Denver would be an ideal spot for Davis to put up Shannon Sharpe-type numbers. Both the Packers and ***** would probably be happy to get two cheaper first-rounders.

Hmmm, Denver gets Davis, Packers trade down and take WR Chad Jackson and best LB available @ 22? Sounds like a decent deal for both sides.

It also opens the possibility that AJ Hawk or Mario Williams can fall into a range in which the Rams can move up

Re: Denver Looking At Vernon Davis
i didnt say they would fall to us at 11, but if Denver moves up high and takes Davis then we wont have to move as far to get Hawk/Williams

Re: Denver Looking At Vernon Davis
Yeah, that's great, but how can it benefit the Rams?

I don't think it really does. The Packers are the most likely destination for Hawk, but if they trade out of that spot, I don't think San Fran passes on him, especially if Davis goes to Denver one spot ahead. So essentially Hawk moves down one notch. Mario Williams could easily go in the top four. If he doesn't, I think Denver would have a hard time passing him up for Davis, but if they do and he gets by San Fran, Oakland would either take him or trade with Detroit who supposedly loves him.

Re: Denver Looking At Vernon Davis
If the Rams were smart they would've lost that game to Dallas and maybe moving up would be a moot point. I still can't get over that senseless win.

How would that be smart? I'm glad we won that game. It was nice to see one more win this season.

Re: Denver Looking At Vernon Davis
It was good to win that game, if only for the sake of the defense. Pisa and LL ran riot in that game, and Tony Hargrove played well aswell.

I don't care what anyone says, even my best buddy Bernie.....losing has no positive ramifications associated with it.

Totally agree. Who cares if we go from a 1st Overall pick to a 6th Overall pick. Its always great to see a win!

Losing on purpose is horrible, but I certainly wouldn't have complained about losing that game, IMO.
