Devanney a godsend for the Rams?

Since 2001 we have had some of the worst drafts of all time. Our FO is pure dog****. Heres a recap of the first and second rounds of every draft since 2001.
    2001:
    1st round-Damione Lewis(Bust and gone)
    1st round-Adam Archuleta(Bust and gone)
1st round-Ryan Pickett(Bust for us, playing good now but gone)
    2nd round-Tommy Polley(Bust and gone)
    2002:
    1st round-Robert Thomas(bust and gone)
    2nd round-Travis Fisher(bust and gone)
    2003:
    1st round-Jimmy Kennedy(bust and gone)
2nd round-Pisa Tinosoma(Good player, hurt alot. But only the first guy outta 8 that is still on our team after all those picks)
    2004:
1st round-Steven Jackson(Took us 4 years to finally keep a starter in the first round. This is the only pick i respect so far.)
    2nd round-No Pick
    2005:
    1st round-Alex Barron(Bust so far)
    2nd round-Ron Bartell(He's getting good)
    2006:
1st round-Tye Hill(We passed up Cromartie due to injuries but Tye Hills had more injuries than games played)
    2nd round-Joe Klopfenstein(YAY!!!, gone)
3rd round-Dominique Byrd(I had to add a third round here just to show how comical our FO is. Two TEs in back to back rounds.
    2007 cant really judge.
But as you can tell our FO is terrible when it comes to the draft. Hopefully Devanney can instil some order and finally get us a quality good draft from rounds 1-7.

Not sure, what did he do for Atlanta recently?

We'll have to wait and see...

He was with the Chargers when they drafted LT and Brees.

Why not go back another year and include Trung Canidate? He certainly qualifies as a bust.

I wouldn't call Ryan Pickett, Tommy Polley, Travis Fisher or Alex Barron "busts." They may have not fully met expectations, but there are categories other than "great pick" and "bust."

Av said exactly what came to my mind. Archuleta was not a bust, either, he just wasn't a safety, he was a quick, undersized linebacker. Lovie Smith knew how to use him, and we chose not to resign him because Lovie was gone. The Redskins didn't watch any film on him obviously, as he was a bust for them, but now he's back with Lovie and so we'll see how he does for them.

Calling Barron a bust is rediculous. He's had issues with penalties but last year that improved. He doesnt give up many sacks and I feel is better suited as a RT then a LT. Calling him a bust when he is our starting right tackle isnt right. He's improving from year to year and last year was a big maturation process for him. I've seen him go up against some of the best pass rushers in the league like Peppers and not hear their name announced once during the game, that does not qualify as a bust.

I should re-word what i said cause you all are taking this out of context. What im trying to say is he's not performing up to his potential and what he should be doing. Also how can you guys not call Polley, Fisher, Pickett and Archuleta busts for us?? We drafted them 6 years ago and NONE of them are still with the team and we got nothing in return for them...i think that qualifies as bust considering they all(with the exception of Archuleta for 2 years) did NOTHING for us.

I only disagree with Barron and Archuletta on that list. Arch did give us some solid years and started to break down when he hurt his back so I dont think he was a bust we definately got his best years out of him. As for the rest, I agree not very good drafts at all.

I agree but I am not ready to call him a godsend just yet.
