Devin Hester
A combination of Hester wanting a fresh start and letting him go saving the Bears cap space could possibly lead him to be a FA.
Should we sign him? This ofcourse is more of a playmaking in kickoffs and punts rather than WR help type of move.
But then again he is 30, could he be his old playmaker self? Thoughts?

Re: Devin Hester
Might as well just draft Tavon Austin and solve your WR/Slot/Punt Returner/Kick Returner problems all at the same time

Re: Devin Hester
Can't say I'd be interested. He still has some explosiveness, but truth is he's also 30, and been returning kicks for a long time. If he loses one step, which he might have already done last season, he'll just be average at best, and he's not a good receiver to boot.

Re: Devin Hester
He said he would consider playing corner. For a bargain price and his former coach at the U as our Defensive Coordinator, I'll take a flyer on the guy at a low price. Let him battle it out in camp. Better than the 10 Day Titus Young experiment, I'll tell you what..

Re: Devin Hester
He is on one of the worst WR cores in the league and they don't want him...no thanks...
the NFL has changed with k/o and punts not being as valuable
