I got all excited seeing the rams pick up a FA(Brown) the first weekend. Bartell I feel does not count because that is what good teams do is keep their good players. But going into the FA signing period team sources said we're going to pick up 1 OT atleast and add some size to the D-line or LB. We could go down the list from there WR, TE,etc. So is it the SOS, one and done, picking up players that add "depth" from now on. Or will we bring in any more high quality players this year?

First off, I would say that Bartell absolutely counts because he has out on the open market, had an offer that is said to have been better than the Rams, and yet the team was able to resign him. That is a major win for the team.

Second, just because we haven't signed anyone in the last few days doesn't mean anything. Free Agency is 8 days old. There are still plenty of players out there to sign, and more importantly, there are now bargains to be had out there as opposed to overpaying for players. Trust me, there's no way that the Rams are done retooling for next season.

I wish I had your confidence Teke. Do you see a new starting OT(right or left),MLB or a DT,WR out there. I hope so even if they over pay. While depth and special team players are needed I would like to see a improved starting lineup.

You build good teams via the draft, and use FA to fill holes. Brown was an awesome pick up because of how young he is, same with if we get Butler. I don't want to overpay for players in FA, tell me one good team that does that?
