Do u think Bulger will restructure his contract to sign an OT?
Hopefully im using the right term in restructure! I mean do his contract over agian so the Rams get more money.
I think Bulger would do this if we are willing to go out and get an OT. We are going to sign (most likely) Ron Bartell and Atogwe to long-term deals for big money. so that might meen we dont have a splash in FA. But what if we restructure Bulger's contract to get gross.
Or we could spend money on the interior line (matt birk or Mike Goff) and draft an OT with the sencond pick.
So do u think Bulger will restructure his contract for a better O-line?

Re: Do u think Bulger will restructure his contract to sign an OT?
It'd be a hell of a gesture. Word is that Fitzgerald is opting to restructure so that Boldin can return as a Card.
Surely Bulger has to realize that he won't return to form unless he has help on the line. Let's find his e-mail and pitch him the idea!

No. The team won't ask and he won't offer.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

I don't see it as a likely scenario. What leverage do they have? Its not like Trent Green is a viable option at QB.
If someone is going to be asked to take a pay cut, I suspect it would be Torry Holt.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Do u think Bulger will restructure his contract to sign an OT?
Sure! And with Warner becoming a free agent, and Vick getting out of prison, we'll have QB's of Bulger's talent just knocking down the door to Rams Park to play for league minimum!! And with a new HC, they won't have to think all that hard to be a huge success, either!

Re: Do u think Bulger will restructure his contract to sign an OT?
Hard to say. I don't think he'll agree to take a paycut so soon after signing the deal. But he might be willing to turn some of his 2009 salary into bonus money, which would spread the cap hit from that money out over the length of the deal. The down side of that is, should the Rams cut him, that's more money that makes up the accelerated cap hit the Rams take when the contract is terminated. But if it's down the road a bit, it might not make that much difference.

Re: Do u think Bulger will restructure his contract to sign an OT?
I would say that Bulger would agree to it. He knows that his time as a Ram is coming to an end. Certainly, it wouldn't be an option anybody would like, but if it helps his team, I'm more than sure he would do it.
I also think that Drew Bennett would agree to a reconstruction also.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Devaney, if you care about this team... fire the offensive coordinator!!!!

I think if the Rams put together a compilation video of him getting rocked for the past 3 years he might be willing to throw money into the pot

I think the Rams should ask not only Bulger to, they need to ask Mcmichael and Bennett both of them are huge disappointments neither can stay healthy or produce on the field when they are!!
