Does anyone believe that the rams....
Does anyone believe that the rams dont know who they are going to select if they dont trade the pick?
Smokescreens aside, i am sure they know who they want. I cant tell you who it is of course and neither can anyone else, although i am sure we can all say that its either dorsey, long or ghoulston.

I tend to agree. Though there's nothing wrong with not knowing for sure at this stage and entertaining all concievable possibilities, I would think it's fairly firmly established at this point in time.

I have no idea. To me, either is possible. Perhaps the Rams know, or perhaps they are still debating it internally. We really have no idea.

IMO, there are two camps in the warroom, Dorsey's & Long's. One of those two camps is prevailing at this point, to the point of being identifiable as the leading candidate. If nothing changes between now and Saturday, at approximately 2:16 pm CST, that person will be the pick. However, I'm equally certain that the trailing camp will continue to push for their candidate right up until Saturday morning.
But, of course, everyone in the room is mulling over trade options as well.
So, bottomline, yea, the Rams could give you a name right now if they were so inclined. But the campaigning will continue for another 48 hours.

Re: Does anyone believe that the rams....
I think they know, I would guess that all involved do not agree. Dorsey was projected as the best defensive player coming out, my guess is we are hyping him as the pick to move back and still get Long. That’s why I love the draft, can’t wait until we show our hand. All I really know right now is we have a good one!

Re: Does anyone believe that the rams....
I am not suggesting that they all agree. My point is that the consensus pick isnt going to change in the next 48 hours barring an injury or altercation involving one of the players involved (ie new data). By this point, it is what it is and i dont believe that absent new data, anyone with a vote is going to change that vote.

.
They know - and there is two opposing camps.
Internally, they've already decided. It was a week ago and Devaney said the Rams Draft board has been completed.

Re: Does anyone believe that the rams....
I'm sure by now, especially with Miami off the board, they have it narrowed down to 3 players, by tomorrow 2.

Re: Does anyone believe that the rams....
I think they know who they want at #2 and I have no idea which of the big three that is. I also think they're first choice would be to slide down a round or two if they can entice someone, and take Dorsey/Long/Gholsoton, depending on who's still there.
