Re: Does trading down make more sense?
I'd definitely consider trading down. In fact I wouldn't mind trading down more than once: say we swap 11 for the Eagles' 14th and 76th picks overall, so they can take Ngata, Bunkley, or whoemever else they might fancy (a little above the draft chart values with them giving us 1310 for 1250 but still possible). We'd be in pretty good position to get someone we like there, but...
Maybe the Bucs would be willing to trade up so they could have their choice of CBs (they were rumored to be shopping their current starters, who aren't getting any younger). So we trade 14 to the Bucs for the 23rd and 59th picks overall (actually a little under value with them giving us 1070 for 1100). Moving down to 23rd we could easily still have a shot at Carpenter or Ryans at OLB, Pope at TE, and an assortment of late first round rated DBs. We would also have the 46th, 59th,76th, and 77th picks on the first day. I would be very happy if we could swing that.

OR we DO trade down and select Chad Greenway...or Bobby Carpenter for that matter.

Re: Does trading down make more sense?
If Cutler falls to #11 trade down with Minnesota. If not try to trade down with the Chargers at #11 they can poick the best wr. We could pick up lb edwards and draft manny lawson or cromarte. All the drafts seem to suggest that the players the rams are most likely to draft will be avalible at #17 or #19.
