Re: Donnie Avery?
Seems legit. Let's get him. He's worth at LEAST 40 mil.

Re: Donnie Avery?
He probably will never stay healthy. I went to a home game when we played the 9ers and avery was wideopen and cuaght a 20yrd pass, wide open and hand nothing but green turf around him. He took about 4 steps and got tackled by the turf monster and didnt get back up. I mean the guy just fell and was literally out for the game. He hurt his arm or something..... Guess that turf monster was one tough cookie

Re: Donnie Avery?
Are we just really bored or that desperate for a wide receiver. Please no more steps back at this position. There is a reason he was cut to start the season last year.

Re: Donnie Avery?
Let's go forward, not backward. We are establishing a new culture, one that hopefully avoids signing "males nurses" (constantly injured). Avery was injured more than he was healthy for us. I wish him no ill (no pun intended) will but we are looking for different type players.
And while I see another thread on the subject, NO I don't think we should sign Otogwe. Either we are ready to put the Devaney era behind us or not and if not then Jeff Fisher will regret his decision to come here. This is the attitude that made us a losing team for so long. Onward and upward fellow Clanners!
Go Rams!

Re: Donnie Avery?
Please move on. No.
Rams need a deep threat Badly.
To many big and fast WR's comming out in this years draft.
Projected rounds 1
Justin Blackmon 6'1" 207
Michael Floyd 6'3 220
Stephen Hill 6'4" 215
Round 2 - 3
Rueben Randle 6'3" 210
Marvin Jones 6'2" 199
Ashlin Jeffery 6'3" 216
Marvin McNutt 6'3" 216
Tommy Streeter 6'5" 220
A.J. Jenkins 6' 190
Round 4 - 6
DeVier Posey 6'2" 211
Greg Childs 6'3" 219
Derek Moye 6'4" 209
I hope Rams draft two more WR's this year. Not slow possession receivers this time. Last year after drafting Salas & Pettis DE ,Spags said we drafted the guys that had the best hands in college and yards after the catch.
