Dorsey's arrival at Rams Park pushed back due to the flu
Dorsey delayed; sack master will visit Rams
By Jim Thomas
ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH
04/13/2008
Louisiana State defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey had to cancel his scheduled trip Sunday to St. Louis because of the flu.
Along with Virginia defensive end Chris Long, Michigan offensive tackle Jake Long and Ohio State defensive end Vernon Gholston, Dorsey was scheduled to meet with Rams officials Sunday and today.
Dorsey will push back his arrival to Tuesday, when more than two dozen prospects are scheduled to visit.

Wahhhh my leg hurts! Wahhhh my relative died! Wahhhh I feel a little under the weather.
Dorsey's not exactly had the best offseason, has he? I'd think that if he really wanted to come to St Louis, he'd come, sick or not.

Re: Dorsey's arrival at Rams Park pushed back due to the flu
Interesting aside here: I just might have seen Chris Long at Burger King on Friday. I'm not sure, but there was this guy who was oh, I'd say about 6'4" with the same build, same hair, same biceps, and he had a football magazine under his arm. I didn't say anything to him because I convinced myself there was no reason he'd be in Centreville. It wasn't until after I went back to work that I remembered he had this draft visit scheduled in St. Louis over the weekend, and that Burger King was on the main highway between Charlottesville, VA and Dulles Airport. So there really was reason for him to be in the area, and this guy I saw looked just like the picture on the magazine he was holding. If it was him, he looked pretty imposing.

Re: Dorsey's arrival at Rams Park pushed back due to the flu
Why all the bashing on Dorsey? He's really a stand up guy!
He seems to get bashed on heavily from posts. He could have deen drafted last year probably mid to late 1st rd., but he decided to stay through his SR. year.
He never had any problems (arrests for drugs, assaults)
He never once said something stupid or acted unsportsmanlike on the field.
He never once cryed like a baby, even when he was hurt, and played through most injuries most would have sat on the bench for.
He owns every coveted DEF award there is.
Give the guy a break already, he may just end up on a team (AZ, #@, Seattle, NE) and get some payback.

Wow. Dorsey isnt doing too well this offseason. I can understand a relative in the family passing away. Thats pretty important. But a fever...come on. This is his future he's putting on the line.

.
I don't see any way in hell that we can take Dorsey.
He'd have to come with Bumper-to-Bumper warranty. Not because he had the sniffles, but because we have zero room for error - the guys doing the drafting for the Rams have zero room for error - and
the memories and experience of Kennedy, Lewis, and Wroten will make them look away in a big way.

Anyone ever try to fly with a fever? Some of you are really unbelievable. Ok, so some of you would rather have another player that's fine but Dorsey is one talented DT. Won every defensive post season award he was up for last year. Even got votes for the Heisman.
I'm telling eveyone here, that Dorsey is going to be a monster in the NFL.
