Draft pick#??????
I hate to be a sandbagger, but if the game tomorrow is meaningless, why try to win.......By winning tomorrow, I think there is the possibility of dropping about 7 spots in the draft.....Has anyone calculated it yet....does anyone agree with me?........By loosing tomorrow, it could actually be huge for the Rams in a good way

Re: Draft pick#??????
I think that this team needs confidence more than a high draft pick that may or may not make a difference in the overall scheme of things...

I see your point, but you should never root against your home team when thay are playing hard.

Re: Draft pick#??????
Reasons to win:
1. Gives team confidence and slight momentum heading into next season.
2. Shows who cares and who belongs on this team, and who doesn't care and doesn't belong.
3. Attracts big time free agents knowing we finished strong and that we can be a contender soon with a few missing pieces.
finally, 4. A wins a win, and its great to see!Last edited by RamsFan16; -12-31-2006 at 01:24 AM. Reason: Spelling Error

Re: Draft pick#??????
Those are some good points, but I have a hard time believing a meaningless win over Minnesota to go to 8-8 rather than 7-9 is somehow going to make a big difference in attracting free agents.
Frankly, I'll be cheering the Rams on tomorrow but I'm not exactly going to be broken hearted if they can't pull out a win. I'm actually quite interested to see how much time our younger players (Alston, Byrd, Wroten, Bartell, etc etc) get and how they do. This seems like as good a chance as any to take a closer look at some of these guys.
