DraftCountdown (Scott Wright) Final 3 Round Mock - Rams Picks
Our friend Scott Wright has the Rams taking the following players:
Round 1(6): Justin Blackmon
Round 2(33): Devon Still
Round 2(39): Lavonte David
Round 3 (65): LaMichael James
I could live with that.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

This may be my favorite mock I've seen so far.

Would like to have seen an offensive lineman - especially a guard like Zeitler, but, what the heck, I, too, could definitely live with that.

I'm not a huge Still fan but I think that'd be a pretty good first three rounds.

I like the Blackmon pick, but like Nick not too high on Still I prefer Jerel Worthy. I also would prefer a starting Guard over a RB in the first three rounds.

Re: DraftCountdown (Scott Wright) Final 3 Round Mock - Rams Picks
I absolutely love the Lavonte David pick alongside the Blackmon pick of course. I agree with many of you about Still but for a different reason because he's a 3-technique and I see Langford as the same. So does that mean we rotate Still and Laws at the nose tackle spot? I am also a bit worried about the ghost of Jimmy Kennedy. But since my daughter graduated from PSU and they're holding a ton of my money, I will go with the pick. (LOL)
Many of you may not realize that when the draft evaluation process began for 2012, Still was the #1 rated DT. Now that may mean nothing today, but there's some talent there. I'm not wild about LaMichael James unless he's seen as a Darren Sproles type RB. I think we may be better served taking an O-Line player like Brandon Brooks or James Brown.
Go Rams!
