Draftniks, Donald Brown?

GBN Report has the Rams taking Donald Brown RB UCONN in the 2nd round.

Thoughts?

I would be shocked if the Rams take a RB in the first 4 rounds of the draft.

Played for U Conn. He's got decent size (210) with a good RB frame. Not a blazer (low 4.5s), but strong runner. Probably goes somewhere in the 30's............but I highly doubt it's to the Rams at #35.

Well, some teams are showing that it may take two RB's with a lot of talent. San Diego, New York Giants, Miami and Dallas for instance.

Stupid. Anything other then LB, DT, OT, WR, CB mocked in the first 4 rounds I usually stop reading. The only exception could be a QB in the 4th but with our needs that is even too high for my liking.

I also like the GBN report, for the most part, but I was really shocked when I saw the Brown thing in the 2nd round. Somebody wasn't thinking or paying attention. To sum it up this pick makes absolutely no sense at all from the Rams perspective, and I was more than a little disappointed with GBN over it. Oh well, I guess this is what makes the draft world go round.

Well with Spags coming from the Giants and their 3 headed running game it wouldn't suprise me at all.

im a huge fan of donald brown. i watched him at the international bowl and the dude is a tank. that being said the rams arent touching a running back in the second round when there going either OT, WR, or NT

The Rams have to many needs to draft a back up before a possible starter.
WR , DT , MLB, DE, CB , The list goes on.

That would definately a steal if he fell to the 2nd round. IMO he's the best overall running back in the draft.
