    Ed Reed

Though he hasn't been the player of old. We need help at safety and he could be had for cheap right now (he's already been paid 5.5 mil).should we take him?

McDonald should be back after the bye or a week after that at worst it seems. Reed isn't worth the money he'd require.

He should have retired after the superbowl win. Would have been a perfect ending.

He got benched in Houston for Shiloh Keo. He's a shell of his former self. And if he signs somewhere, it will be more than the current cap will allow for the Rams.

    Re: Ed Reed

I would rather bring back Nolan Cromwell, who would be a lot cheaper cap wise. There is no evidence Reed can play well any longer and his public criticism of the coaches after the last loss is the last kind of thing the Rams need to get involved with.

Well stated, still laughing. Could I add Bill Simpson and Eddie Meador to your list?

    Go Rams!

He'd take valuable experience away from our young group of developing safeties without improving our play back there.

I'd take him if he came at vet min and understood his role to only be as a mentor at this point.

This is more along my line of thinking. Imagine what TJ could learn from him.
