ESPN: Raiders pick depends on Trent Green trade?
From Rotoworld...
I guess that makes sense. If Green goes to Miami, then Culpepper would likely be cut or traded. He should be available for the Raiders if the deal is made, which would alleviate their need to draft Russell first overall. Interesting development if it's accurate.ESPN's John Clayton reports the Raiders intend to draft Calvin Johnson with the No. 1 pick if the Dolphins acquire Trent Green from Kansas City.
Clayton's theory is that the whole top part of the draft depends on the future of Trent Green. If Green goes to Miami, Daunte Culpepper will be cut and Oakland would then sign him. Clayton says if a Green trade can't be worked out, the Raiders will be forced to draft JaMarcus Russell.

Does indded make sense. To think that our ultimate draft hopes hinge on the success of a trade between two teams involving a 35 yar old Quarterback is astounding. That's the NFL for you, folks.

Going to be quite a show over there in Oakland if this goes their way. Building an entire offense around the Hail Mary.

It would be interesting to see who the Bucs go for (what with them being lovers of CJ)
The Bucs have an ageing defense and yet Gruden has no intention of making it any younger and seems to offense orientated, hence CJ...
but If the Raiders get CJ the whole draft will change!
