Every Rams Fan's Second Favorite Team

Q: Who is the second favorite team of every Rams fan?

A: Whoever the Redskins are playing.

Right now (after 9 weeks), the Redskins' pick (based upon record and strength of schedule tiebreaker) is the 5th pick in the draft (the Rams' pick, in case you're wondering, is currently #14).

The Rams have already obtained Michael Brockers, Janoris Jenkins, Isaiah Pead and Rokevious Watkins as a result of the trade with Washington (and the subsequent trade down with Dallas).

If the the 2013 first round pick is a Top 10 selection, the Rams should be able to get a Blue Chip prospect (and still will have one more first rounder in 2014).

This week, the Redskins have their bye.

In Week 11, its GO EAGLES!

Then, Thanksgiving Day, I will be heard uttering words I never thought I'd utter... GO COWBOYS!!!

No offense, D.C.....

I take pleasure in rooting against the Redskins every week and revel in every loss, as our future bounty gets bigger and bigger.

Due to the fact that I lived in San Diego for 7 years and my company has has season tickets to the chargers for the last 5 years, I have a vested interest in them. Add to the fact that I am a die hard through and through so cal fan from lakers, angels, kings . The chargers are the only so cal football team around so that adds to them being my 2nd football team.

While that is interesting, I have to wonder whether you actually read the first post of this thread, or merely read the thread title.

Although the Bucs have been my #2 team for a long time, there has never been a time that i watched the skins with care ever like i do now. If the Rams and Skins play at different times i watch both games. If they are on at the same time i watch the rams(of course) and pay great attention to what is happening with the skins game. There has never been a team i didnt like that i paid as much attention to as the Skins. Now i havent liked seeing them getting injured, but i have loved watching them losing. And every week i root for whoever is playing the Skins.

I am at the point that if the Cheatriots/whiners play the Skins im going to hope they win.....and that hurts saying cause i hate them both more then anything in the NFL. But having a top 10 pick(potentially top 5) is something that can help us more then a loss by my hated.

I hate the Eagles so damn much, so it'll certainly be hard to root for them, but I guess at the end of the day what matters is where we are picking in the draft! I wish we got the #5 pick by years end. We could seriously get a blue-chip prospect (Jarvis Jones anyone?), and possibly land an elite LT or something else with our pick (I suspect we will be picking around #14-15, our schedule is much easier after the *****).

No worries.

I'm constantly cheering against the Redskins, last week was the first time I'd cheered for Panthers since Superbowl 38.

I also did my part to put a curse on the 'Skins by drafting RG3 in my fantasy league and he's definitely contributed to my 3 game skid. Lets hope he keeps up the good work!

WHAT SAY YE?

As of today, the Rams would have the 7th and 8th picks.

It would be nice if the two picks are consecutive. That would put the Rams in a great position to control their draft destiny.

Considering I live in Redskins "Nation" I have an already profound hate for the Redskins... Now I have more fuel to add to the fire.

Correction... based upon strength of schedule tiebreakers, the Rams currently hold the 7th and 12th picks.

Anyone the Redskins are playing will be my second favorite team...except the cowboys.


I hope the Redskins smash the Cowboys. I cannot stand that organization, their many delusional fans, and Jerry Jones.
