FA's That Improve Rams
Here is my list of FA's still out there (7/29/11 6:48am) that make the Rams better if we go get them.
I kept the list realistic, i.e. you won't see Asomogha because of the contract, or Plaxico for that matter because I think he has become too expensive.
Remember this isn't about anything other than if we sign one of these guys I feel we are better than we were w/o this guy

Re: FA's That Improve Rams
Here is my wish list of who is still available:
WR
If the Rams resign Clayton then I don't see them bringing in another WR.
Safety
I would love them to get Roman Harper at safety.
RB
I really don't care who the bring in, as long as they sign someone.
Guard
Justin Blalock all the way.
Linebackers
Would love Rocky McIntosh but again, I am not too picky as long as they sign someone to help out.
DT
Aubrayo Franklin would be a dream come true, but I hope the Rams can land Mebane.
CB
I believe Brandon Carr is a RFA and was tendered at a 1st rd pick. I would love to grab him but not for a 1st.

Re: FA's That Improve Rams
Carr is listed as a UFA right now, ESPN may have it wrong. Seems like he would be getting more intrest right now so you may be right.
My whole point in creating this list was so that hopefully everyone would go.......yeah, I'd take anyone on that list.
To me it seems pretty easy to improve this team.

Re: FA's That Improve Rams
A couple of guys I'd add to the list:
Derek Landri, DT, Carolina
A productive player last year (43 tackles, 3 sacks) on an underrated defense.
Mike Hart, RB, Indianapolis
Buried on the Colts' depth chart, but when he had the opportunity to play consistently over a three week period last year, he performed well (34 carries, 177 yards, 5.2 avg.).
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: FA's That Improve Rams
This is from the ESPN FA tracker: Brandon Carr CB RFA 6-0 207 4 Chiefs
Shows he is a RFA there.

Re: FA's That Improve Rams
There are some guys i don't agree with, such as Ernie Sims and some of the older DTs on the list (Williams, Henderson), but the rest (provided the RBs can live with being a back up) seem like they would be decent signings.
However i think i would be disappointed if the team spent money on a CB considering the play of Bartell and Fletcher and looking at the other holes on the team

Re: FA's That Improve Rams
I especially love both those suggestions. Derek Landri was really impressive to me for what he did.
Since I am a Michigan fan I've always followed Mike Hart and he would be a great addition, at the very least a 3rd down back. Very underrated but can be a great breather back especially if the injury bug shows its ugly head.
