FINAL ClanRam Draft Board
Here it is, the moment you've been waiting for...
THE FINAL CLANRAM DRAFT BOARD
1. Eugene Monroe, OT, Virginia (96)
2. Aaron Curry, LB, Wake Forest (94)
3. Jason Smith, OT, Baylor (81)
4. B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College (37)
5. Micahel Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech (31)
6. Brian Orakpo, DE, Texas (16)
7. Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia (2)
8. Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio State (1)
8. Aaron Maybin, DE, Penn State (1)
8. Mark Sanchez, QB, USC (1)
Interesting outcome. After Curry held the top position for the last two votes, he ended up at No. 2. The voters also indicated that they feel safer with Monroe as the selection over Smith. Raji had a strong finish at No. 4, though I wonder if the failed drug test rumors would have altered this. Crabtree is still hanging around, despite his lack of offseason workouts. Orakpo slides in at No. 6. The remaining are token votes.
Does the Rams' draft board match ours? Time will tell.Last edited by AvengerRam; -04-07-2009 at 09:23 AM.

Re: FINAL ClanRam Draft Board
Wow Monroe and Curry are in a tight contest for our votes. But my real question to veryone would be: Would you be disappointed with either of these two guys as our #1 selection??? Personally I'm rooting for Curry but would be fine with either.

No, I wouldn't be upset with either, but I also would prefer Curry. BPA baby, BPA...

Re: FINAL ClanRam Draft Board
I am a Monroe guy through and through, but I'm kinda surprised that he won. I thought curry was going to win. It was close so it wasn't to shocking. I would be ecstatic with Curry or Monroe right away, Smith not so much

You accidentally wrote Michael Jenkins instead of Malcolm Jenkins

Re: FINAL ClanRam Draft Board
Obviously this shake-up happened because Pace was dropped.
Pace being dropped made Eugene Monroe the better OT for the Rams because now we need a OT that can come in right away and start like Eugene Monroe.
I liked the outcome mainly because we have all the pieces (except deep WR corps) on Offense all we need to do is protect the backfield and we did a fine job to address that the off-season if we take a OT in the 1st.

Re: FINAL ClanRam Draft Board
You know what this means, the Clan has Monroe and Curry at the top so the Rams will go with J Smith.
Happens all the time.
