First 11 picks of the Draft Projection
1. Houston - reggie bush
2. New Orleans - matt leinart
3. Tenessee - vince young
4. New York - d'brickashaw ferguson
5. Green Bay - mario williams
6. San Francisco - a.j. hawk
7. Oakland - jay cutler
8. Buffalo - haloti ngata
9. RAMS trade w/Detroit - michael huff
10. Arizona - Vernon Davis
11. Detroit - Winston Justice
We give up our 3rd round pick to move up to take Huff. Detroit which has many holes steps out of the top 10 to get more starters. We get a difference maker.

With that many holes I imagine they'd want more than a 3rd rounder though.

Detroit has a big hole at FS as well. We'd have to give them a good reason to pass on Huff, and I'm not sure an additional third rounder is good enough.

New Orleans - matt leinart
Saints signed Drew B. I don't think they will stay at two. They will trade out with the Jets or someone in need of a QB. May be Tenessee.

Re: First 11 picks of the Draft Projection
I hear you guys, BUT remember Matt Millen is embattled big-time. If the ole' adage of putting all your eggs in one basket scares off Millen. Plus, he'll have to pay a top-10 guy and Detroit's had their share of hold-outs.. another thing Millen wants to avoid.
I may be just being too much of Ram's Fan in thinking we can do it.
How about getting creative? Swap firsts with Detroit and give them a third and have a provision that says if Huff makes the Pro-bowl this year - they get a 2nd next year. If he makes the Pro-bowl in his second year, the following year Detroit gets a third round pick.
That would cover Millen if Huff becomes an instant star; however unlikely that may be. Since Pro-bowls are made on reputation it's very unlikely we'll have to give up the picks. And it gives Millen cover to the Sportswriters that will second guess Millen.
Where there's a will, there's a way.
The deal for Huff at #9 is certainly more attainable than what we'd have to do to get Hawk or even pry Ngata away from Buffalo at #8.
#1 Huff can play.
#2 Reported he's a student of the game
#3 ... 21 Reps at 225 pounds for a DB
#4 ... 4.34 timed in the forty
#5 Did whatever they asked him to do at the combine. The scouts were really impressed.
