Personally I'd rather come out of the draft with a young center and guard, rather than a tackle. Lots of times Bradford gets clocked by defensive ends because he doesn't step into the pocket, which sometimes is attributed to the fact that our interior is getting pushed around.

This is what I've noticed also. How about Peter Konz or David DeCastro?

Either one or both sounds good to me...

Itd be great to have either, but i doubt we'll be picking that late in the round to get either, unless one falls to the 2nd round somehow. Or we move up, which i dont see the rams FO doing.

I think you hand picked the guys you liked for this poll -- It's way too early to do this, especially since most of the people here haven't focused on the games of these players.....

The basic question is do you want a WR, Oline, or an athlete on defense

Blackmon will probably win the poll, because of his name value., but the off-season is long....and the Rams will get better

Is there some limit on the number of mock polls? We could do polls everyday from now til April if one (or more) were so inclined.

tad bit assumptive, isn't it? I myself would assume that most of the people here have the ability, desire and opportunity to watch college football.

Blackmon will probably win the poll, because of his name value.

That, or the people who answered "Blackmon" on this poll understand that A) the Rams need a playmaking WR, probably above all other needs, and B) he is, at this juncture, the best candidate to fill that need.

I really want Vontaze Burfict. The guy would add some attitude to this defense at a position of need for the Rams. But i dont think we would take him if we pick in the top 5, So im going with Blackmon. Kalil would be nice too.

It's getting to the point that we're going to have such a premium pick that I think we go Kalil over Blackmon. I know the guaranteed money isn't like what it was two years ago, but after assuming OT was set this past offseason it has resurfaced as another glaring need. If we resign Lloyd, I can definitely see us going Kalil over Blackmon.

I wouldn't mind trading up and grabbing him. He is a tenacious linebacker. However, recently his production has been down because he has been asked to play more disciplined. He's been playing with less speed and less agressiveness, so one questions whether or not he can play at a high, disciplined level.

Luke Kuechly is another beast at MLB, who I think could transition to WLB really smoothly. He's like an incarnation of Laurinaitis, with maybe an even better skill set.

Im almost tempted to take Kalil, move Saffold to RT and stick Smith at Guard if and only if he restructures his contract massivly, if he doesnt then i have no problem letting him go and picking up a guard later in the draft or in FA.

One that note, we still need a beastly wr, not some 3rd or 4th round wr whos not gonna be our #1/#2.

ughh i want Blackmon/Jefferies.

I want Blackmon but I think the team needs Kalil more if he's as good as advertised. Cut Smith and move Saffold to the right where he belongs. At the rate we're going we'll end up with the 2nd or 3rd pick in the draft. We need to just take the best player available between the two.

we CANNOT keep letting playmakers pass us by to be grabbed by another team year in and year out.
We need a playmaker on offense that will loosen up defenses thereby creating more time for Bradford to make his check downs on his receivers.

While Id love to get a premium LT, at this point I feel WR has been missing from the offense for too many years now.
