I would make that trade in a second! Blackmon is good and he is big need. But he's not "Megatron" type talent. IMO If we pass on him this year most likely we get a player like him next year with one of our first round picks.

To we could add five starters this year alone and fill a lot of holes.

At some point, quality trumps quantity. Second round and third picks are quality. I would not take 5,6,7 rounders but to add another 2nd and 3rd that's quality if you as me.

Third rounders dont interest me all that much. Not worthless at all, but not all that valuable if we are giving up the chance to select a claiborne or blackmon. Picks in the first 50 interest me a lot. If i am trading with the eagles, i want both those second rounders, even if i have to give them a little something back in the later rounds to balance out the deal. One word of caution however. The more picks you make, even in the high rounds, the higher risk that at least some of them crap out on you. The odds of picking five starters in the first 2 rounds is really low unless you have psychic powers or are incredibly lucky, since injuries, in addition to talent evaluation, are going to play a part in the ultimate outcome.

At this point, there is no player I could get at 6, that would stop me from making the trade.

If WR Blackmon is there No!

If Blackmon is gone sure. It has to be a one sided, Heck with the trade value chart. GET MINES FIRST !

If the Eagles offer enough picks. Picks 15,46, 88 and one of there sixth round picks.

    I would do it then.
