Re: Which of the following prospects are acceptable choices for Pick #14?
If we take Watt, I'll really hope to be wrong about him, but when I see a 6'6, 290 lb. DE who runs a 4.84 in the 40, I can't help but see Adam Carriker. Now... for the record... I do think Spags could have done more with AC than the Rams' former defensive staff did, but I really would prefer to see the Rams get a guy like Aldon Smith who can really fire off the line and get around OTs.
As far as a Justin Tuck type of player, I see that potential in Cameron Jordan.

Will the people who didnt vote for julio jones please identify themselves? I would love to understand the rationale for not selecting him if he is available.

Re: Which of the following prospects are acceptable choices for Pick #14?
Based upon this poll (and assuming that I've correctly projected the players who won't fall to #14) the ClanRam Rams Draft Board looks like this:
1. Julio Jones, WR, Alabama
2. Aldon Smith, DE, Missouri
3. Corey Liuget, DT, Illinois
4. Robert Quinn, DE, North Carolina
5. Cameron Jordan, DE, California
6. Da'Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson
7. Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue
8. (tie) J.J. Watt, DE, Wisconsin; Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama
10. Mike Pouncey, OG, Florida
I'd guess that this is pretty close to the way the Rams have their board stacked up. The one exception might be Bowers who, depending on the medical prognosis, could either be higher or off the board entirely.
*Interesting Note* - With the exception of Bowers, all of the players listed above will be attending thedraft, so the Rams should have a nice photo op with their first choice.Last edited by AvengerRam; -04-25-2011 at 12:27 PM.

Re: Which of the following prospects are acceptable choices for Pick #14?
After watching a small portion of every player above surprisingly Luiget give me the best feeling out of all the prospects on defence? I see someone who at worst will be a good starter for our team for the foreseeable future.
All the other players have more ???? in my opinion.

Re: Which of the following prospects are acceptable choices for Pick #14?
^ Really, I thought he looked terrible on film. I thought he didn't look anything close to a first rounder. We all see something different.
I personally really like Watt. It's not fair to compare him to Carricker, because they are different. Many guys with Carrickers measurable did great in the NFL they just don't happen to be white, that's why I say it is an unfair comparison.
However, my concern with Watt is that he hasn't played D-Line very long. He was a TE at Western Michigan, and then when they wanted to move him to LT he quit so he could pursue TE at Wisconnson. After they discovered that he was a freak athlete he got moved to DE.
