Forget getting a safety in the draft.

YouTube - Christian BAM BAM Varner #3/#23
    WARNING: VIDEO CONTAINS EXPLICIT LANGUAGE

Surprisingly this guy has hardly gotten any mention in being a selection on draft day. I wouldn't even mind using a choice on him. Talk about a guy who can lay wood.

If he's an undrafted free agent, I'd have no problem signing him.

    Thoughts?

Bad thing about highlights are they don't tell you how consistent they are in coverage. However late round picks are all gambles and he looks as though he might be worth one. Nice find.

I wouldn't mind to get him if he's a lower round pick or undrafted. We need to replace Chavous eventually...

    Wait just a minute ! V- ARNER . W- ARNER . #3/#23 , #13 ?

COULD THIS BE A SIGN . If it is or isn't i don't care . Just go back and look at this video . His footwork , tecnic and setup for a tackle is just awesome . Look at the tackles that he makes for his teammates , he is getting everything they can't . He is a solid wrap-up tackler who looks like runners don't get away , and if they get past he can catch them from behind . He looked good in his coverage skills . this guy is a solid prospect .

The one thing that came across to me is he was a machine , but he looked small . Does anyone have his bio/stats . if you ask me i would have thought i was watching O.J. ATAGWE a few years ago . If this kid is really this good , i would pick him in the 3rd or 4th rd if he grades out good and pair him with O.J. \

And i would take a chance on this kid in the 3rd or 4th before i'd give a pick for a MANNINGHAM or HARDY and maybe even KELLY also .

Well, he has a highlight video on YouTube, so he's obviously the reincarnation of Jack Tatum.

Yes , that is kinda " almost tacky " in a way huh ? but he was making alot of plays , has closing speed wraps up and put the wood down . I noticed that he played against pretty good competition . i would show interest in someone who could be a 3rd / 4th safety and special teams guy . he did well on his returns , but i would like a total evaluation on him . Let me look into this guy and i'll get back .

The Rams have needed some young talent other than OJ for years. Lets hope this guy falls in our laps in the later rounds.
