Free Agent Wide Recievers
We all feel that the Rams have a need for a big time WR -- Odds are we will get a good one in Round 1 on next years draft since this year Wide Reciever Class is top notch in talent and depth.
Round 1 -- We will get Floyd, Blackmon, Jeffery, Fueller (depending on our pick)
Round 2 -- Guys like Ryan Broyles and T.Y. Hilton will be there that add speed
But there will be 2 elite Free Agent Wide Receivers that will be willing to jump ship.
Brandon Lloyd 30yrs old vs. Dwayne Bowe 28yrs old
Bowe will come at a higher price and is younger. Both have horrible offensive situations that are run first offenses. Bowe seems like a great fit to line up across from a #1 draft pick and he probably wouldn't have to go far from his current home.
I think if we can factor a #1 draft pick and Bowe into our lineup we will be golden.
Bowe is a consistent player and wants to catch balls somewhere else.

Re: Free Agent Wide Recievers
I wouldnt mind seeing our 1st rounder wr line up with Bowe next year.
Only reason Loyd would be considered is cause he knows mcdaniels offense.

Re: Free Agent Wide Recievers
Yeah, plus Kyle Orton will be gone, and Fox does nothing but run the ball.
Denver will probably be in shambles by next season, but they may overpay Lloyd to stay.
Hopefully, Bradford will re-structure his contract so that we can sign Bowe and Floyd/Jeffery/Blackmon/Fueller..... with those 2 we can add a young speed RB / or Randall Cobb type in Round 3 of draft and become a show on the turf again....

Re: Free Agent Wide Recievers
Chris Long re-worked his contract so we may have some space there. I'd love to add Bowe and a first round draft pick. I'd die to see a Bowe/Floyd or Bowe/Jeffery combo. That'd be awesome! I also wouldn't be hesitant to cut any WR we have except for Danny.

Re: Free Agent Wide Recievers
I agree completly, but still would like to keep DX cause of his big play ability, im just one of those guys who love DX.
Imagine Bowe/floyd-jefferys-blackmon #1-#2 with DX out there and Danny boy.
We'd be 150% upgraded at wr then.
We keep pattis and salad to develop more, and maybe gibson, thatd make 7. Skywalker can go along with the rest. and we pray pettis and salad grow and all of a sudden our wr's are a streangth instead of a weakness.

Re: Free Agent Wide Recievers
Sims-Walker is on a 1 year deal and hasn't showed anything yet so I dont see him back. DX I'd like to keep as well. Gibby may stay, may go. I dont care much about him. Very inconsistent play, drops a lot of balls, inability to create seperation.
I would love to see Bowe, Floyd, Amendola, Salas, Pettis, Curry, DX. I like Clayton too, maybe he takes one of the rookies spots.

Re: Free Agent Wide Recievers
thats a very good point, if clayton comes back and shows he can contribute, i could easily see one of our rookie wr's getting knoecked out next year. would only benefit us too. skywalker has shown me nothing good except for one game. he needs to step his game up a lot. curry stays for ST.

Re: Free Agent Wide Recievers
Dude I'm about to the point that I want us to call up Moss and Owens and let them run routes for us! Heck they would probably hold onto the ball better than what we been seeing! lol

Re: Free Agent Wide Recievers
still doesnt help when he is able to throw a pass our wr's cant catch it.
dont get me wrong, our 0-line rediculously horrible. but wr's suck as well. if the o-line could block like last year, and the wr's catch like they have in the past, then we could win games. the o-line playing right would also help the run game. now the corner situation......thats a tough one, but i can hope they play average at least.

Re: Free Agent Wide Recievers
What hand problems? i know early in his career he had some but has fixed those problems the last couple years allegedly. He caught 15 t'd last season and has 4 td receptions this year, while our wr's have 2 td receptions and Jackson has one td reception, a 3 total td pass receptions for us this year.
I dont like Lloyd, he hits me as a one year wonder. LLoyd is also 30 while Bowe is 27.
Bowe + Jeffery + DX + Amendolla + Clayton = Awesomeness
