Re: Free agents left
Crowell would be a good fa, if we draft Curry. Barnes could give us some depth at OT.
I also like Foster as a backup RB. I think we should resign Looker, he is a decent reciever who has served the Rams well, plus he has a great work ethic. I still would like to see if we can get a look at Harrison if we can get him at a reasonable price.

Re: Free agents left
I added Samari Rolle released by Baltimore who I am not that interested in and Kevin Shaffer released by Cleveland who I am interested in as a RT.
What do you guys think of Shaffer 6'5 315 29 years old?
Shaffer, 29, spent the last three seasons with the Browns, playing in 47 games -- all starts.

Re: Free agents left
Barnes just signed with the Raiders. Amani Toomer is someone I'd like the Rams to really look at.

Re: Free agents left
I met Amani Toomer once pretty cool guy. Challenged him to a foot race, but at the time he was rehabbing a knee injury.
Definitely interested in Crowell. D.J. Hackett is an extremely interesting name, he was burning us when he played for Seatle, but he had a down year playing out of the WCO in Carolina. I think he can be revived back in the WCO here. He has good size to put opposite avery.

Re: Free agents left
I added Ken Lucas who was released by Carolina. He would be a good addition if he is smaller cap hit.

Re: Free agents left
Toomer is married to a dane so I have to vote for him :P
On a more serious note I would like Crowell and I also think that I can remember Lucas to be a good player. So he could be a good one to add in the case that Hills is also a bust under spags leadersship.
I also think that we should look for a BIG DT to play NT for us. I don't know which of the FA's would fit this role best. I guess giving the Cardinals a 2nd Round tender for Watson would be to much. With all the other needs we have to address in the draft.

Re: Free agents left
Tatum Bell was subjected to playing for the Denver Broncos. I feel bad for him, as they let all their backs get beat up last season. I feel like he has alot of potential, and with his youth still somewhat intact, think he should be given a shot. We could use a good back behind Jackson just in case. His 4.9 career Yards per carry is very decent, and should be taken into account. Our guys know how to block for a run, and his numbers would only prosper.
Also, were you not including RFAs in this list? I know that it only happens 3-7 times per year where an RFA gets lured away from home, but there are a few decent ones this season that warrant some attention.

Re: Free agents left
Out of that list, I couldn't see the Rams pursuing any of them honestly. I think we are just going to coast into the draft, get our guys, and see who gets released in June/July.

Devaney, if you care about this team... fire the offensive coordinator!!!!
