Re: Full 7 Round Ram Draft Projection
No. The Rams are fairly set with Manumaleuna and Roland Williams and, unless they are willing to invest a first day pick, they're not going to get a big upgrade.

Re: Full 7 Round Ram Draft Projection
For the life of me, I can't imagine why anyone would want Clarett. He had one good year in college, and has been idle since. His 40 time indicates that he has limited upside, and he's had major attitude problems. A guy like Moats makes infinitely more sense. He would be a perfect change-of-pace back who could take over the #2 spot when Marshall retires. Definitely worth a late 3rd round choice.

I'm not so sure. I'd go with him early on day two.

Round 3 (66): Antonio Perkins, CB, Oklahoma
Round 3 (81): Joel Dreessen, FB/TE, Colorado State
Round 4 (117): Adam Snyder, OG, Oregon
Round 4 (134): Ryan Moats, RB, Louisiana Tech
Round 5 (155): Boomer Grigsby, LB, Illinois State
Round 6 (192): Andre Maddox, S, NC State
Round 6 (210): Jimmy Verdon, DE, Arizona State
Round 7 (230): Timmy Chang, QB, Hawaii
Round 7 (250): Sione Pouha, DT, Utah
Round 7 (251): Harvey Dahl, T, Nevada
Of course, once you get so far in your prognostication, the rest is basically a crap shoot - it's difficult to predict the first round or two of this draft, let alone all seven.

Re: Full 7 Round Ram Draft Projection
Glad to see you on the Perkins and Moats bandwagon, Nick!
Perkins would be a great pick-up, as he is also a talented PR.
If the Rams could get Moats in the fourth round, that would be great. Its possible he'll still be there because the RB position is very deep in this year's draft.

Coolness.

I'd say Take o-line help at 1 then move ll to lb and get a quality end to replace him on de.....think about it ..............LT any one?
He could rome all over and he surely has the speed for coverage!

Re: Full 7 Round Ram Draft Projection
Clarett is a fifth or sixth round pick. He's not going to get a lot of money because all the warning signs are flashing with this guy.
I hope the Rams aren't interested. Don't need his attitude.

I know another QB I'd like to see the Rams draft if we can wait until 2006. Paul Pinegar from Fresno State

Re: Full 7 Round Ram Draft Projection
Not necessarily. This line already has a number of bodies available, if they can remain healthy. Because of the versatility of players like Williams, Tercero, Saipaia, and Turner, I don't think we need to carry multiple back-ups for positions as long as guys remain healthy. Look at the preliminary line-up.

You've got Turner who can back-up both guards and McCollum, Alford who can back up the guards, Williams who can back up both tackles, the rookie tackle who we'll assume can back up Tercero, and the rookie guard who can back up both guards. Again, as long as we aren't plagued by the injuries we saw last season, I think we'll be okay with a ten man offensive line unit. It's when we start getting into injuries that we need to look at more bodies.
