    GBN WR Rankings

GreatBlueNorth, which is one of the better draft rating sites, has put out its Top 100 prospects list (Great Blue North Draft Report). The top draft eligible WRs listed are as follows (overall rank in parenthesis):

    1. A.J. Green, Georgia (3)
    2. Julio Jones, Alabama (9)
    3. Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State (15)
    4. Michael Floyd, Notre Dame (23)
    5. Jonathan Baldwin, Pittsburgh (29)
    6. Ryan Broyles, Oklahoma (44)
    7. Leonard Hankerson, Miami (55)
    8. Torrey Smith, Maryland (65)
    9. Greg Little, North Carolina (76)
    10. DeVier Posey, Ohio State (87)

I think that's a pretty good list, and the rankings are on target in my estimation.

To me, the top three (Green, Jones, Blackmon) are clear first rounders, while the next group (Floyd, Baldwin, Broyles, Hankerson) are guys who could go as early as picks 20-32 and as late as the latter part of the second round.

    Pretty good crop, overall.

Wasn't Greg Little supposed to be an a stud similar to AJ Green this year, until he lost his season? Or am I thinking of somebody else?

It would be a great draft if we could get someone like Travis Lewis or Robert Quinn in the first round, and then Michael Floyd or Jonathan Baldwin in the second.

No you are exactly right my friend, but being out football this season has dropped his stock greatly.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jonathan Baldwin tumbled down the Rams draft board after his temper tantrum about not getting the ball more.

We have to get Justin Blackmon. That guy is a beast. He is terrific when going down field, juts catching everything that goes his way. This guy needs to be in the Lou next year.

That will change when Titus runs sub-4.3 at the combine, and yes you can quote me on that.

    Re: GBN WR Rankings

So far I have evaluated 20 of the top 50 WR's projected to come out.....

Once I get through the top 50 I will post my top 10 WR's ....

This is my favortie position to scout and I think I am better at it than most.

If you have followed my WR threads over past 3 years you can see that I have projected guys like Britt to succeed and guys like Mike Williams to be legit NFL players.

I can tell you this ...this class isn't as deep but so far there are a few guys that clearly, clearly stand out and one that I think the RAMS NEED TO DRAFT.

After watching the tape, Ill be back either today or tomorrow., as I am free doing this now....

I remember that you were a big fan of Britt, and he's doing pretty good so far. Mike Williams looks like he's going to be good too.
